The Ultimate Yes, as I like to call it, is a confluence of contentment, fulfillment, discernment, and enchantment in each and every moment ~ a going and growing with the knowing and flowing ~ a constancy of intimacy and ecstasy worthy of those who would be gods and goddesses.
I know, sounds impossibly wonderful, doesn’t it, but there it is for your contemplation.
Now what do we do with it?
Intend, Commit, Realize
Intend : I allow myself to entertain the notion of orchestrating, in each and every moment of my life, a confluence of contentment, fulfillment, discernment, and enchantment, for as long as it takes to incorporate it into my life, so as to foster a constancy of intimacy and ecstasy.
–
the process : foster a constancy of going and growing with the knowing and flowing
the outcome : a confluence of contentment, fulfillment, discernment, enchantment
–
Commit : thankfully, I now feel ready and willing to orchestrate, in each and every moment of my life, a confluence of contentment, fulfillment, discernment, and enchantment, for as long as it takes to incorporate it into my life, so as to foster a constancy of intimacy and ecstasy.
–
the process, from another PoV : equanimity via neutrality < > serendipity via serenity
the outcome, from another PoV : a safe, sacred space < > a fearless fateless flow state
–
Realize, I am now able to perpetuate a constancy of intimacy and ecstasy in perpetuity.
Precautions and Suggestions
For younger, less mature readers, I would advise caution with this material. This is the sort of stuff you don’t want going to your head, though admittedly quite a bit of inflation and deflation of the ego can be expected, which is part and parcel of the overall process outlined.
Here, the distinction between “a polestar that guides” and “a shoreline that goads” can be helpful. Approaching the outcomes outlined above is not without its risks, but with the right preparation, said risks can be minimized, if not eliminated altogether. Here’s what I suggest . . .
- it’s fun to imagine being a god or goddess, but stay humble about it
- foster a bias toward humility in service to others more often than not
- beware sudden changes in circumstance as a consequence of clarity
- foster an ability to read and respond to energies in motion (emotions)
- beware shutting people out of your life just because “they really suck”
This last suggestion begs for a bit more clarification. People “suck” for a reason, mostly as a consequence of being what is known in the spiritual literature as “emotional vampires,” which is why going for the Ultimate Yes requires cultivating a safe and sacred space within (see above).
Also, the vampires in your life might be serving as catalysts for your growth. But then again, maybe not. This is where discernment comes into play, which is developed over time with skill and experience, and remains an essential piece in coming to terms with your own humanity.
Know, too, that in moving beyond “karma as dharma,” a fateful entrapment with someone cannot occur without unresolved trauma manifesting as tendencies toward codependencies, or more auspiciously, as opportunities for learning and growing into better versions of ourselves.
In closing, I’ll end on a few positive notes: at rest, elaborate outcomes in a spirit of play, with a view toward seeking, finding, and having a more delicious clarity; in flow, perpetuate process with a view towards meeting (or exceeding) outcomes with realizations of delight.
It is within my vision of life on Earth to see everyone live The Ultimate Yes.
